Day 8 (May 21): Today, we toured Snæfellsjökull National Park, wandering down all the dirt roads we could find. We took Road 579 out to Skarðsvík Beach, and then on to Öndverðarnesviti (a light), along with The Torch & Svörtuloft Lighthouse.

We next climbed Saxhóll Crater and drove into Hólahólar Crater.

We stopped next at Malarrif Lighthouse and Lóndrangar, and then nursed our near empty gas tank back to town.
