What a magical place! We enjoyed a leisurely 4 mile, 3 hour stroll through the Quinault Rain Forest and along Quinault Lake. This is not a place to hurry as it is best to let the place seep into you. Most of our group were not photographers, and I could have easily spent a few more hours finding interesting compositions, though I am very happy with those I did find. The trail is easy to follow, and offers just a tad of elevation gain, at 387′. You will not notice that as your pace will be so slow as you enjoy the forest.
