The Grand Canyon was the feature attraction of my Aperture Academy photo workshop. We spent a very full day at the canyon, and Ellie and Brian from Aperture taught me a ton, this being my first photography mentoring of any kind.
Our day was spent on the south rim, and we began by shooting at Yvapai View, then on to Mather Point. We then took a bit of an afternoon break, and were back at it again shooting more at Hopi House, and Desert View. My favorite shots of the trip were from Desert View: one of the inside of the visitor’s center and one of the canyon with the castle like visitor center in the right foreground for interest and perspective (the feature image for this post).
Wonderful shots.
Thanks!
